Cherrydale Fundraising, LLC respects your privacy and appreciates the confidential nature of your personal information.  When you use our “send to a friend” email program to help with a fundraising event for your school or group, we will need to collect certain information from you in order to attribute credit to you and your group for online purchases, and to administer the contest described in this policy.  We offer a “$10,000 Cash Giveaway Promotion” as a reward for those who participate in the “send to a friend” email program.  This policy describes the kind of information we collect online, and the manner in which we will use and protect the confidentiality of such information, in accordance with the federal Privacy Act of 1974, as amended.  It will also define when and how the $10,000 Cash Prize will be distributed to the winner.

Participation To Win the $10,000 Cash Giveaway Promotion:
No purchase is necessary in order to participate in the Cherrydale Fundraising $10,000 Cash Prize Giveaway.  Accordingly, purchases from the Cherrydale.com Web site - irrespective of their number or size - will not increase your chances of winning the promotion.  A minimum of 1 email entered into your “send to a friend” email account will automatically enter you in the contest.  While an unlimited number of individuals may enter the contest, there will be only 1 winner.  This promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are at least 13 years of age.  Parents may enter and participate on behalf of their children under the age of 13.  This contest shall be void as to entrants located outside the 50 United States.  There are no limits as to the amount of times a qualified individual can enter and win.  The winner will be required to confirm the authenticity and validity of the minimum 1 email address entered before the prize is officially awarded.  The $10,000 Cash Giveaway prize will be awarded on June 15, 2009. A winner will be selected by random drawing  The promotion will be removed from the Web site once the prizes has been awarded. 

Collecting Your Personal Information:
By participating in the $10,000 Cash Giveaway Promotion, Cherrydale Fundraising collects your first name, last name, email address, group number and any additional email addresses you may provide.  We gather this data in order to attribute credit for all Web site purchases made to you and your community group or school.  We may also use your personal information in order to verify that you have received your prize if you are a winner.

In addition, when you visit our Web site, we will automatically collect information regarding your use. Currently, this is done using "cookies" - small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive and relayed back to our servers. We use both session and persistent cookies. Session cookies track your progression through our Web site in a single visit and are deleted as soon as you close your browser. The information collected from you by Cherrydale Fundraising is for internal use only. Cherrydale Fundraising will not share the information collected from you with any third party for purposes of marketing information to you, your family or friends.  We may, however, disclose personal information if required by law or legal process, and if we believe it is necessary to do so to protect the property or personal safety of Cherrydale Fundraising and its staff, visitors to our Web site and any other third parties.
