I started my fundraising career in 1984 with a small company out of San Diego called Champion Products and Services. As Champion was going bankrupt in the Spring of 1991 I was rescued by Cherrydale. I've seen a lot of things change product wise over the years. I started out with poster calendars and jewelry and now with our partnership with Club's Choice and their tremendous frozen line coupled with Cherrydale gifts and chocolate bars I have managed to continue to be successful even in this tough economy.
I married my wife Becky in 2001. We have four children between us. Ryan 26, lives in Ohio. Nikki 24, just graduated from Texas State University. Luke 21, just finished his tour in the Army and is now starting college and Jake 17, graduating high school this Spring.
I've developed some tremendous relationships with many administrators over the years. I've always enjoyed being able to help them raise money for things they would not otherwise be able to afford. I think that trying to stay on the cutting edge of incentive programs has a way of keeping one feeling young. I guess that happens when you try to look at life through the eyes of a 5th grader. (My wife says I'm good at that)
